Market analysis shows that on average venues are chosen 10 months before the wedding; photographers at 9 months; planners and music at t-minus 8 months; florists, cakes, videographers and others closer to the wedding.
I'll do the easy math for you. If you're a photographer, you're beating the competition to the client by a month. If you're a planner, band, or DJ, you're beating them by 2 months. If you're a florist, cake baker, videographer, or transportation specialist you're beating the other guys by at least 3 months.
